Forms, emails, and supplier review details

When you download the China Supplier Verification Checklist, we may collect your name, email address, product category, and selling platform.

When you submit a Supplier Risk Review request, we may collect your name, email address, supplier names, supplier website or platform links, product category, quoted product details, order quantity, MOQ, destination country, payment request details, your main concern, and files you upload such as business licenses, quotes, proforma invoices, and screenshots.

If you contact us by email, we may keep your email address, message content, and related communication history.

Checklist delivery, email communication, and manual review

We use your information to send the checklist you requested, provide supplier risk education emails, respond to support requests, review supplier information you submit, deliver Supplier Risk Review reports, and improve the website and service.

We do not sell your personal information. We only use supplier details and uploaded files to provide the service you requested, communicate with you, and maintain reasonable business records.

FluentCRM, FluentSMTP, and Hostinger email

China Source Lab may use WordPress, FluentCRM, FluentSMTP, and Hostinger email services to store contact records, manage email lists, send checklist download emails, send follow-up emails, and handle customer support communication.

You may unsubscribe from marketing or educational emails using the unsubscribe option when available, or by contacting us at support@chinasourcelab.com.

Future PayPal payment processing

Online payment is being prepared. In the future, China Source Lab may use PayPal or another third-party payment provider to process Supplier Risk Review payments.

When PayPal is used, payment information is processed by PayPal according to PayPal's own terms and privacy policy. China Source Lab does not intend to store full payment card details on this website.

How long we keep information

We keep contact information, email records, supplier submissions, uploaded files, and review-related records for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, respond to questions, maintain business records, and comply with applicable obligations.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@chinasourcelab.com. We may need to keep limited records where required for security, legal, accounting, or dispute-related reasons.

Service providers and external links

The website may rely on third-party services including WordPress, Hostinger hosting and email, FluentCRM, FluentSMTP, analytics or security tools if enabled, and PayPal when payment processing becomes available.

The website may also link to supplier websites, Alibaba, 1688, Made-in-China, Global Sources, PayPal, or other external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party websites.

Public Reddit Data

ChinaSourceLab may, subject to Reddit's explicit approval, use Reddit developer services to conduct limited editorial analysis of publicly discussed supplier-verification and international-purchasing risks.

If approved, this process may temporarily handle public Reddit posts, public comments, subreddit names, publication dates, engagement metadata, Reddit content identifiers, and source URLs. ChinaSourceLab does not seek access to private messages, modmail, private communities, or non-public account information.

Approved Reddit data would be used to:

• calculate aggregate editorial statistics;
• identify recurring supplier-risk topics;
• support manually reviewed educational articles;
• verify the context and source of limited public citations; and
• comply with content-deletion and removal requirements.

ChinaSourceLab does not sell, license, or provide raw Reddit data to customers, advertisers, or data brokers. Reddit data is not used for advertising targeting, individual user profiling, sensitive-attribute inference, surveillance, or automated decisions about Reddit users.

Reddit data is not used to train, fine-tune, benchmark, or evaluate machine-learning or generative-AI models.

Full raw Reddit content used for temporary processing will normally be deleted within 48 hours. Aggregate statistics that do not contain full Reddit content or user-identifying information may be retained for longitudinal comparison.

Where a public Reddit discussion is cited, ChinaSourceLab may display a limited excerpt, source attribution, and link when permitted. Cited material will be reviewed for continued availability and may be removed or updated if the source content or account is deleted, or if removal is otherwise required.

API credentials and locally stored research material are protected through access controls and appropriate technical security measures.
